Anionic polyacrylamide (APAM) is a white powder with a molecular weight between 6 million and 25 million. Good water solubility, soluble in water in any proportion, insoluble in organic solvents. The effective pH value ranges from 7 to 14. It exhibits the characteristics of a polymer electrolyte in a neutral alkaline medium, and can be cross-linked with high-valent metal ions to form an insoluble gel. This product is a water-soluble polymer. Because its molecular chain contains a certain number of polar groups, it can absorb solid particles suspended in water, bridge between particles or make particles agglomerate to form large particles through charge neutralization. 1. When using polyacrylamide, it should be formulated into an aqueous solution with a concentration of 0.01%-0.05%, preferably neutral and salt-free.
2. After the polyacrylamide is dissolved, evenly sprinkle the anionic polyacrylamide (APAM) product into the stirring water, and the stirring speed is controlled at 100~300rpm. Proper heating (<60℃) can accelerate the dissolution.
3. Adjust the pH value of the liquid to be treated so that the anionic polyacrylamide (APAM) product can give full play to its effect, and select the best pH value and dosage of this series of products through experiments.
4. When adding anionic polyacrylamide (APAM) product solution, speed up the mixing speed with the liquid to be treated. After the flocs appear, reduce the stirring speed to facilitate the growth of the flocs and accelerate the sedimentation.
