Cationic Polyacrylamide CPAM Chemical Auxiliary Agent For Papermaking
Cationic polyacrylamide (CPAM) is a linear polymer compound. Because it has a variety of active groups, it can interact with a variety of substances and adsorb to form hydrogen bonds. Mainly used for flocculating negatively charged colloids, with functions of turbidity removal, decolorization, adsorption, adhesion, etc., suitable for dyeing, papermaking, food, construction, metallurgy, mineral processing, coal powder, oil field, aquatic product processing and fermentation industries. The treatment of wastewater with high organic colloid content is especially suitable for the dehydration treatment of industrial sludge such as municipal sewage, municipal sludge, and papermaking sludge.

How to apply:
1. Dissolution: Dissolve solid PAM into an aqueous solution of 1‰-5‰ before use. Dosing should be added slowly to the water to ensure
chemicals can dissolve.
2. The dosage of the solution: the general aqueous solution is 1‰-5‰, but it is recommended to use a high-concentration and high-viscosity suspension. It is better to dilute the aqueous solution to 0.1‰ (try to avoid using a high shear centrifugal pump to dissolve the solution to
prevent the molecular chain from being cut)
3. The molecular weight of cationic PAM is lower compared to anionic PAM, therefore, the molecular weight of cationic and nonionic PAM is higher. The concentration ratio is higher than that of anionic PAM. The recommended concentration is 1‰-5‰.
Application areas:
PAM has a wide range of applications in water treatment, petroleum exploration, textile, papermaking, mineral processing, medicine, agriculture and other industries.
