Trichloroisocyanuric acid is one of the series products of chlorinatedisocyanuric acid, referred to as TCCA. The pure product is powder-likewhite crystals, slightly soluble in water, easily soluble in organic solvents,and the content of active chlorine is 2-3 times higher than that of bleachingpowder. Trichloroisocyanuric acid is a new product of bleaching powder andbleaching essence. The three wastes are much lower than bleachingessence. It has the characteristics of high sterilization and bleaching power,long release time of available chlorine in water, safety and non-toxicity.
