Cationic polyacrylamide (CPAM) exhibits positive charge in acidic or alkaline media, flocculates and precipitates suspended particles in negatively charged sewage and sewage, and has an excellent clarification effect, such as alcohol factory wastewater, brewery wastewater, and sugar Factory wastewater, meat food factory wastewater, beverage factory wastewater, textile printing and dyeing factory wastewater, etc.

 

instruct:

1. When using polyacrylamide, it should be formulated into an aqueous solution with a concentration of 0.01 to 0.03%, and neutral water without salt impurities should be used.

 

2. After the polyacrylamide is dissolved, evenly sprinkle the cationic polyacrylamide product into the stirred water, and control the stirring speed at 100~300rpm. Proper heating (< 60°C) can accelerate the dissolution.

 

3. Adjust the pH value of the liquid to be treated to make this series of products give full play to their effects (choose the best pH value and dosage of this series of products through experiments.)

 

4. When adding cationic polyacrylamide product solution, speed up the mixing with the liquid to be treated. After the flocs appear, the stirring speed should be slowed down to facilitate the growth of the flocs and accelerate the precipitation.

 

Precaution:

1. Dissolution temperature. The dissolution of polyacrylamide requires a certain temperature to accelerate the dissolution rate. However, if the temperature is too high, the molecular chain of the polymer will be broken and the use effect will be reduced. The most suitable dissolution temperature is 50---60°C.

 

2. Stirring conditions. The dissolution of polyacrylamide should avoid excessive shearing force agitation. Excessive stirring will destroy the molecular chain and reduce the use effect. Stirring should use low-speed paddles, such as anchor type, frame type, multi-layer paddle type, etc., and the stirring speed is about 60 rpm. High-speed centrifugal pumps should also be avoided during transportation, preferably plunger pumps or diaphragm pumps.

 

3. Disperse the materials evenly. The key link in the dissolution of polyacrylamide is the uniform dispersion of the feed. After starting the mixer, it is best to use a mechanical vibrating screen to feed the material (the mesh is 10 mesh), try to avoid the production of "large clumps" and "fisheye" insoluble particles, so that the polyacrylamide can be fully dissolved. The use effect is good.

 

4. Avoid connecting with iron. In the dissolving, stirring and conveying dosing system, it is best to use plastic, enamel, aluminum, stainless steel and other materials.
