Cationic polyacrylamide (CPAM) is a copolymer composed of cationic and nonionic units of acrylamide. Its molecular chain has ionizable positively charged groups (-CONH2), which can be ionized into polycations and polycations in water. Small anions can adsorb and bridge suspended particles dispersed in the solution, and have a strong flocculation effect.
