Cationic Polyacrylamide Flocculant Petroleum Additives Chemical Auxiliary Agent
Polyacrylamide is a water-soluble polymer, insoluble in most organic solvents, has good flocculation, and can reduce the frictional resistance between liquids. According to the ionic characteristics, it can be divided into three types: non-ionic, anionic and cationic.
Cationic polyacrylamide (CPAM) in acidic or alkaline medium is electropositive, so that the suspended particles in wastewater with negatively charged sewage flocculation precipitation, clarification is very effective, such as alcohol plant waste water, brewery wastewater and gourmet powder factory wastewater, sugar refinery wastewater, meat food factory waste water, beverage factory waste water, textile dyeing wastewater, etc.
Specification | Appearance | Molecular weight | Ionity | Proportioning concentration |
Cationic | White granule | 6-12 million | 10%-60% | 0.1%-0.2% |
Cautions for the use of cationic polyacrylamide
1. The size of flocs: too small flocs will affect the drainage speed, too large flocs will restrict more water and reduce the degree of mud cake. After selecting the molecular weight of polyacrylamide, the size of the floc can be adjusted.
2. The characteristics of sludge. The first point is to understand the source, characteristics and composition of the sludge, as well as its proportion. According to different properties, sludge can be divided into organic sludge and inorganic sludge. Cationic polyacrylamide is used to treat organic sludge. Related anionic polyacrylamide flocculants are used for inorganic sludge. Cationic polyacrylamide is used when the alkalinity is strong, and anionic polyacrylamide is not suitable when the acidity is strong. Solid content When the amount of sludge is high, the amount of polyacrylamide is usually larger.
3. Floc strength: The floc should be stable and not broken under shearing action. Increasing the molecular weight of polyacrylamide or choosing a suitable molecular structure will help improve the stability of flocculation.
4. Ionity of polyacrylamide: For dewatered sludge, flocculants with different ionicity can be selected after a small test, and the best and appropriate polyacrylamide can be selected to obtain the best flocculation effect. It can also minimize the amount and save costs.
5. Solubility of polyacrylamide: good dissolution can give full play to flocculation.
